My aunt, who was a AT & T/Bell long distance operator for about 40 years retired in Queens. I remember being there as a little boy and looking out at this great bridge from her rent controlled apartment. (about $25/mo) dont remember the address but it was neat. NYC taught me about culture, even thought i returned to Muncie, IN (middle city, usa) to finish school, never forgot about the friendly and different Queens people.
